Modeling & Dance
Starting in freshman year of university, I signed to Avenue Management as a model. I have since been featured in multiple magazines and commercials in Singapore.
Many modelling opportunities were a result of my training in dance. This is a passion that is now a career in itself.
Dance was always a large part of my life since training in ballet at 3 years old. But I became annoyed with the fact that boys didn’t need to wear pointe shoes and put their feet through the torture (and the fact that barre was both repetitive and really really hard).
Luckily, I shifted towards contemporary dance before my passion for dance entirely died out. I’ve since delved much deeper into dance, exploring different genres, learning from teachers all over the world, making friends, and embracing my identity as a dancer. I’ve also discovered a love for high heels dance, which I never could have imagined before the gap year.
As a dancer, I have filmed commercials for Xiaomi and Tmall. Both were choreographed by myself and mainly styling contemporary dance.
