I had wanted to take a plane from Amsterdam to Copenhagen directly, but Schiphol Airport’s staff shortage was exacerbated by a strike. So I decided to take the train and make a stop at Hamburg, a city I was always curious about. Compared to puff pastry, I am a bigger fan of bretzels. I saw what I personally think is the most incredible food twist: the pretzel pizza.
