Munich

I met up with a friend from University in Munich. Coincidentally, Munich Airport was the first placed in Europe I set foot on when I transferred to a connecting flight, and now it’s also the last stop before returning to Singapore.

On the day of departure, I noticed that my passport had not 6, but only 5 months left before expiration. Caught between a situation of quite plausibly not being able to enter Singapore, not being able to legally stay in Europe (visa’s expiring!), and not being able to return to China (covid). Luckily, I’m able to sit in my dorm room and write this now because the problem was at last resolved after a long day of phone calls and sign language with the border police.
